Job Title: SEND Teacher - KS1/2 - Primary - Trafford
Axcis is working with an outstanding school in Trafford that is looking for a SEND Teacher to join them from January 2020 on a longer-tern, full-time basis for 2 terms. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching primary aged students with a range of SEND needs. Experience of teaching students with: speech, language and communication needs, as well as ASC and ADHD is essential. A solid understanding of differentiation and an understanding of how to deploy support assistants to maximise learning in the classroom is an essential aspect of the role. The role is full-time and will require the ideal SEND Teacher to teach a class of 7-8 students in their small specialist class. All students within the class have EHCPs with needs centred around speech & language. This Outstanding primary school is based in Trafford. Outstanding senior leaders ensure cohesion between staff, pupils and parents. Progress is high across the school, regardless of pupils' starting points. In terms of location, the school is easy to commute by car and public transport. This is a great school in which to work. This role is to begin in January 2020 and is for a minimum of 2 terms.
