Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant Location: Richmond Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (3:30 pm finish on Fridays) Salary: £93.48 - £95.29 per day Are you a passionate and engaging individual eager to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are seeking a committed Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in a secondary school setting. This role is perfect for someone with experience in supporting students with ASD, non-verbal communication, sensory needs, and challenging behaviour. Responsibilities: Support students with special educational needs (SEND) in a secondary classroom environment. Create a welcoming and inclusive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with teachers to implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs. Assist with classroom management and behaviour support. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students. Requirements: Previous experience in a SEND setting. A positive attitude and proactive approach. Dependability and dedication to consistently supporting students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing classroom needs.
