**The Role:**
As a Special Needs Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning experience for children on the autism spectrum. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing, adapting, and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners within the Autism Base.
- Utilizing your knowledge and expertise to implement effective strategies to support students with autism and other associated needs.
- Closely monitoring and assessing the progress of each student, both academically and socially, to inform personalized learning plans.
- Collaborating with other professionals within the school, such as Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and therapists, to coordinate support for students.
- Building strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child’s development and involving them in the educational process.
- Managing classroom resources and creating an inclusive, supportive, and safe learning environment.
- Participating in CPD and school training programs to continuously develop professional skills and knowledge.

**The Ideal Candidate:**
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a recognized teaching qualification with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Have extensive experience within a special needs school environment specifically tailored to children with autism.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the UK curriculum and the specific adaptations required for children with SEND.
- Exhibit strong classroom management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate all learners.
- Be a compassionate individual with outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be legally eligible to work in the UK.
