Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEN Provision
Teaching Assistant – SEN Provision (Primary) | NW5 | September Start
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join the SEN provision of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the NW5 area from 1st September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurturing and resilient individual who thrives in a structured, supportive environment and has a genuine passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and challenging behaviour.
The Role:
Supporting children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups within the school’s SEN provision
Helping to implement personalised learning plans and behavioural strategies
Working closely with the SENCO and class teachers to deliver tailored support
Creating a calm, consistent, and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience working with children with SEN, especially ASD
Skilled in managing challenging behaviour in a calm and constructive way
Confident, physically active, and able to set clear boundaries
Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Committed to promoting inclusion and enabling all pupils to reach their potential
This role would suit someone who brings strong presence, patience, and consistency – qualities often well-suited to those with experience in similar settings or who have a background in sport, youth work, or mentoring.

Based in a supportive primary school in NW5
September 2025 start (1st September)
