Job Title: PRU Teacher required in Yeovil
JOB LOCATION:
Somerset
We have an SEND teaching job for a qualified teacher with experience of working with PRU pupils. Full time PRU (PUPIL REFERAL UNIT) teacher required Axcis are looking to recruit an experienced PRU worker for a PRU (pupil referral unit) based in Yeovil. The school is in a good location and is easily accessible via local public transport links. You must have an understanding of working with young people with special educational needs and disabilities and have a real desire to make a difference. You will be working across KS3 and KS4 providing 1:1 and group support for pupils who are showing challenging behaviour. You will be inspiring and helping to motivatie pupils to re-focus on their academic requirements, while providing social and often emotional support and role model guidance. This PRU role is to start ASAP and could last for the duration of the academic year for the right candidate. Ideal candidate: "Previous experience preparing pupils for reintegration into schools "Excellent behaviour management skills. "DBS on the update service or willing to apply. "Experience with challenging behaviour. "Team Teach trained is highly desirable - Team teach training is something Axcis can offer you. This is a temporary position.
