We're on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Complex Needs Teacher to join our dynamic team in Redbridge, London. You understand that each day is different and are adept at tailoring your teaching strategies to meet the diverse requirements of your students. With excellent communication skills and a knack for collaboration, you're comfortable working with families, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the success and wellbeing of your students. **Qualifications:** - A recognised teaching qualification in Special Education or QTS experience in teaching students with complex needs. - A solid track record of teaching children with a variety of learning difficulties, including PMLD, SLD, ASD, and other complex conditions. - A current Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one. - Legal right to work in the UK. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) catered to each student's abilities, goals, and needs. - Engage students with creative, multisensory lessons that inspire and educate. - Use adaptive technology and other aids to enhance learning and communication. - Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity and growth. - Assess and record student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary for individual achievement. - Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. - Participate in professional development opportunities and stay updated on best practices in special education.
