Are you a dedicated SEND practitioner looking for a new challenge? Experienced Behaviour Support TA needed immediately in a mainstream secondary school in Glastonbury working 1-1 with a Y11 child with challenging behaviour.
This is a great opportunity to join large school with brilliant leadership and structure. The school has an "excellent" Ofsted rating and it's popularity amongst parents, children and staff is clear. The school has excellent parking facilities and links to local public transport.
The position is general KS4 in-class support - you will be working 1-1 with the child and will need to be able to establish a good working relationship with them very quickly. The Y11 student is at risk of exclusion and presents with very challenging behaviour so resilience is a must. The role is full time and will run untill the end of the academic year.
The right candidate will be an inventive and positive TA who has a proactive attitude and will be calm and unfazed by difficult situations. You will be a positive role model and will have a chance to make a real difference to a child's life.

We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.
