Axcis Education is exclusively working with a lovely secondary school in Chester that requires a teaching assistant to work within their autism unit on a full-time basis. This position requires the successful candidate to start as soon as possible. In terms of qualities and skills the ideal candidate will need to be highly experienced with supporting students that have Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). Desirable although not essential qualities include being trained in the following: Team Teach, MAKATON, PECS. The school is within close proximity to public transport links and Chester city centre. Normal school working hours of 8:30am to 3:15pm. Essential requirements: DBS on the update service, or a willingness to pay for a new one on registration. Why work for Axcis?
