Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant- Challenging Behaviour Support (Worcestershire)
Location: Worcestershire Salary: From £13.86 per hour / £89 per day Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Contract: Full-time, Long-Term (September Start) Are you resilient, calm under pressure, and passionate about making a difference? We are working with an Alternative Provision setting in Worcestershire that supports young people who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. The school is seeking a confident and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term role where you’ll be supporting students with challenging behaviour, social and emotional needs, and sometimes complex backgrounds. The Role: • Provide consistent, patient support to students in and out of the classroom • Build strong, trusting relationships with young people to help them re-engage in learning • Work one-to-one and in small groups with students who require additional behavioural and emotional support • Support class teachers in creating a safe, structured environment Who We're Looking For: • Experience working with challenging behaviour, either in a school or care/support setting • Support workers with relevant experience are welcome to apply • Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, empathetic approach • Ability to stay composed in difficult situations and be a positive role model • A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one • Willing and able to travel to sites within Worcestershire What’s on Offer: • Competitive pay: £13.86 per hour / £89 per day • A long-term opportunity within a supportive team • Professional development and training to support your career • The chance to make a real impact on the lives of vulnerable young people Refer a friend – Know someone else suited to this type of role?
