Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 4 Support, Oldbury
Location: Oldbury Salary: From £13.86 per hour / £89 per day Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Contract: Full-time, Long-Term (September Start) We are currently working with a supportive primary school in Oldbury who are looking to appoint a committed and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting pupils in Year 4, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. About the Role: • Provide tailored support to Year 4 pupils with a range of special educational needs • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans • Support children with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment Requirements: • School-based experience is essential • Proven experience supporting children with SEN (in a primary school or similar setting) • Reliable, patient, and adaptable with a passion for helping children thrive • Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) • A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one What’s on Offer: • Competitive daily rate of £89 per day / £13.86 per hour • A long-term opportunity with the potential for progression • Supportive leadership and a welcoming school community • Ongoing training and development Know someone who would be perfect for this role?
