I am currently recruiting for a large special educational needs school based in Ealing. The school caters for students of all age ranges from 4 to 19 years old with a range of complex learning difficulties. Are you an enthusiastic and resilient teaching assistant? Are you able to start ASAP?.
If so this could be just the position for you.
The successful teaching assistants will be required to provide general classroom support and may also be asked to work on a one to one basis or in small groups.
You will need to be committed to providing support to learners with a range of complex needs, be flexible in your approach and able to work as part of a team.
Previous experience with special educational needs (SEND) is preferred.
Understanding and experience of using Makaton, PECs and sensory approaches are an advantage but are not essential.
This is a full time, long term role to start ASAP and will continue on until the end of the academic year.
