Job Title: SEND Learning Mentor (Level 3 Award in Education) - Torbay
Axcis Education are currently working with an alternative SEND setting in Torbay, who are actively looking for experienced practitioners who have a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (Level 3 AET) to join their fantastic team. As a SEND Learning Mentor, you will: - Work as a 1:1 Learning Mentor with college aged pupils who have complex needs and require assistant to achieve their learning goals. - Use your Level 3 AET to breakdown learning objectives into small steps and maximise to help facilitate progress within sessions. - Build positive relationships with individuals who may find it hard to communicate with adults. - Enjoy working as a team, continuously looking to develop best practice and support fellow colleagues. Working hours for these positions are 9-4.30 in a Torbay based learning centre. Your rate of pay will be between (£85-£105) a day, depending on your previous experience and qualifications.
