Axcis Education are looking for an enthusiastic Science teacher to work in a secondary school in the Torbay area. You will be planning, delivering, and assessing stimulating science lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 3:30, with pay rate ranging from £130 rising to £200, depending on previous teaching experience. The school tailor their curriculum to meet the needs of the students, developing a range of skills knowledge, attitudes and understanding so all students can aspire to their full potential. The students arrive at various points of their education system, and so experience in assessing and differentiating to meet the needs of the children is desirable. The school’s purpose is to support students to create a future, where everyone can develop and succeed. For this role, we are looking for candidates who have experience of teaching Science at either primary or secondary level. Experience of working with vulnerable children, or children with additional needs, is desirable but not essential.
