Axcis is working with a fantastic Secondary Pupil SEND school in Yeovil who are seeking to employ a SEND Maths Teacher. The school has been rated as outstanding by OFSTED, it has excellent resources, beautiful grounds and is popular with all our staff that we've placed there. There is excellent potential for progression in this school, with many staff being taken onto permanent contracts after a short period of supply work. This is a full time role, five days a week starting in September and running till the end of the current term. The ideal candidate must have experience working as a Maths teacher for secondary aged children who are studying KS3 and KS4. If you can teach other subjects that would be an added bonus. You will be teaching students in small groups of up to seven. You must have effective classroom management skills to be considered for this role.The right candidate will be an inventive and positive teacher who has a proactive attitude and the desire to go above and beyond the call of duty. The successful candidate will have QTS and a PGCE. You will need to hold an up to date DBS certificate and be able to provide a detailed, work history with two contactable references to be considered for this role. The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and a resilient personality, with a creative and flexible approach to teaching which builds success through challenge, personalisation and innovation. You will have experience of working with students who have SEND needs and and will be calm, professional role model.
