Job Title: HLTA needed for secondary school in Croydon
London - SE
A mainstream secondary school located in Croydon, are looking for a full time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join them asap. Purpose of your role: To work with teachers to plan, organise and support teaching and learning activities for classes. The primary focus is to do specified work with individuals and groups under the direction and supervision of a qualified teacher. Provide short-term cover supervision to whole classes on a scheduled and unscheduled basis. Responsibility for the management of Teaching Assistants and other classroom support staff across the school and the development of a specialist area as and when required. In addition you will also provide specialist support to pupils with learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory or physical difficulties; to pupils where English is not their first language. Pay ranges from £100 to £130 per day depending one experience. Please only apply if you have experience as a HLTA. Trial days are taking place ASAP.
