Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an all-through Social, Emotional and Mental Health school. This is a full-time, long-term role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, with pay between £90 – £95 per day.
The school supports pupils aged 5–16 who experience a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning by building positive relationships, supporting them in lessons, and encouraging their personal, social, and academic development.
Due to the school’s location, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role.
We are looking for someone who is:
Patient, resilient, and able to manage challenging behaviour positively
Skilled at building trust and rapport with young people across different age groups
Passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH to thrive in both learning and life
A confident driver with daily access to a car
