Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a primary school setting. This is a full-time, long-term role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, with pay between £90 – £95 per day.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to engage with learning and develop essential life skills. You’ll work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support, adapt activities to suit individual needs, and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will be:
Patient, resilient, and enthusiastic about working with children
Able to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
Passionate about helping students with SEND thrive both academically and socially
Experienced in working with SEND (desirable but not essential)
