Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week
Axcis Education is recruiting for Teaching Assistants to support students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) at a specialist college in Northfield.
The Role:
You will:
• Provide support with learning and personal care for students with PMLD.
• Use sensory and therapeutic approaches tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with hoisting, feeding, and daily routines.
• Support communication through AAC, switches, and non-verbal methods.
• Work closely with therapists and specialist staff.
About You:
• Previous experience with PMLD or complex needs is essential.
• Compassionate, resilient, and confident with personal care.
• Understanding of sensory learning and assistive technology.
• Team-focused with excellent communication skills.
