Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week
Axcis Education is recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at a Leamington Spa primary school. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and committed to helping children focus, learn, and succeed.
The Role:
You will:
• Provide 1:1 support to help a pupil maintain concentration during lessons.
• Implement focus strategies such as chunking tasks, visual timetables, and movement breaks.
• Encourage positive behaviour through praise, rewards, and clear boundaries.
• Adapt activities to suit learning pace and style.
• Liaise closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents to support progress.
About You:
• Experience supporting children with ADHD, attention, or behaviour needs.
• Calm, consistent, and adaptable in a busy classroom setting.
• Skilled in behaviour management and positive reinforcement.
• Enthusiastic about helping children build confidence and independence.
