Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week
We are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated learning needs in a Warwick school. This long-term role is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, inclusive environment.
The Role:
You will:
• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with autism and learning difficulties.
• Use visual strategies, timetables, and structured learning to reduce anxiety.
• Support social communication and interaction through structured play.
• Adapt resources to meet individual learning targets.
• Work alongside SENCO, class teachers, and external professionals.
About You:
• Experience supporting autism and learning difficulties in school settings.
• Understanding of early communication methods such as PECS or Makaton.
• Patient, structured, and proactive in supporting engagement.
• Committed to inclusive education and supporting pupils with SEND.
