Job Title: SEND LSA needed!
Axcis Education is working with a mainstream primary school in Stratford Upon Avon. The school specifically caters to children with ESOL and autism. The school has a support staff vacancy for a teaching assistant who can ensure the pupils can learn effectively through feeling safe, happy and engaged. The staff member will need to be able meet the very individual needs of it's pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. This will be an active role 2-fold; 1. Supporting individuals with physical needs whom may be wheelchair users that may need assistance in manoeuvring as well as the use of a hoist. 2. Supporting individuals whom can be very active in and out of the classroom. Another key aspect of this role will be ensure all personal care tasks are carried out with the care and dignity of the individual being of the utmost priority.
