Location: Bromsgrove
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE) depending on experience
Start Date: Immediate
We are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive SEND school in Bromsgrove, supporting learners aged 5 to 19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
This full-time, long-term position offers a meaningful opportunity to be part of a passionate team, helping students to thrive both academically and personally.
This is a specialist setting committed to creating a positive and nurturing environment for young people with complex needs, including autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support for students in both classroom and 1:1 settings.
• Assist with differentiated learning tasks, communication strategies, and sensory-based activities.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and SENCOs to deliver individualised support plans.
• Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils across all key stages, from primary through to post-16.
We’re Looking For:
• Someone with previous experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Strong classroom experience, ideally within an SEN or alternative provision setting.
• A calm, consistent, and nurturing approach to supporting students with additional needs.
• Flexibility and resilience—this role requires a positive mindset and a proactive attitude.
Essential Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• Two relevant and recent references.
• A genuine passion for inclusive education and a commitment to pupil wellbeing.
