Primary Challenging Behaviour Teacher Required for Birmingham - West Midlands - Role: SEND Teacher Jobs
Axcis Education are working with a primary school in Rubery, Birmingham which cater for a large number of pupils with a range of special educational needs from social, emotional and behavioural problems as well as autism. The pupils require a full time teacher who has experience of teaching extremely challenging autistic pupils who are all on different levels and range in ability.
Our client is a 2 form entry primary school and the class you will be working in will have seven pupils and you will have the support of an experienced TA.
The successful applicant must have experience of teaching pupils with special needs and a proven track record of reintegration. You will be required to teach the pupils on a full time basis with a view of them settling into mainstream classes by the end of the summer term 2015.
To apply you must have :
* An understanding of EBD
* Experience of planning and preparing for pupils with mixed abilities
* Good understanding of IEPS
* Knowledge of outside agencies that you will be working with weekly
* A current DBS
* Eligibility to work and reside in the UK
* References spanning the last 2 years
