1-1 Behaviour Support Y3 | Bristol | SEN Teacher Jobs
*I am urgently looking for a highly experienced, resilient, calm and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) to work one to one with a student with challenging behaviour at a lovely city primary school in south Bristol.
The student is currently in Year 3 and requires support in class and during free time to build positive relationships with their peers.
The student does exhibit challenging behaviour, verbally and physically and will need support from a SEND TA that can effectively model and promote positive behaviour. The school are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who has experience implementing behaviour plans, delivering behaviour strategies and promoting inclusion. The SEND TA will also be required to regularly work with the class teacher and Inclusion Leader as a team, to monitor student progress.
Those with experience working with students with EBD/attachment disorder and ASD will be at an advantage. Furthermore, the SEND Teaching Assistant must be caring, nurturing and understanding to promote a positing working relationship with the student.
The school required support for this pupil full time, 5 days a week, immediately.
This is a temporary position.
