Job Title: Experienced Teaching Assistant Location: Wandsworth, London Working Hours: Monday to Friday; Full-time Salary: Paid to scale We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant educational team in the heart of Wandsworth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our teachers and enriching the lives of our students. Key Responsibilities: - Provide classroom support to the lead teacher, assisting in the preparation and delivery of lessons and activities across various subjects. - Work closely with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts, enhance understanding, and monitor progress. - Manage classroom resources and materials, ensuring accessibility and organization in support of a constructive learning environment. - Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere. - Assist in the assessment of student performance, providing feedback and maintaining accurate records. - Facilitate communication between students, teachers, parents, and administrators, contributing to a vibrant and inclusive school community. - Attend and participate in educational training sessions and school meetings to continually develop professional skills and knowledge.
