Teaching Assistant – Primary School Location: HX2 Start Date: September Day Rate: From £89 per day, depending on experience Are you a passionate and caring individual with a desire to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting? Axcis Education are looking for a dedicated teaching assistant to join us to help make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment, offering 1:1 support or working with small groups of children who require additional support in their learning journey. Key Responsibilities: • Provide tailored support to children with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and adapting resources as needed • Encourage positive behaviour and promote pupil independence • Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress Requirements: • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desirable) • A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to learning support • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Child & Adult Workforce) – or willing to obtain one • Legal right to work in the UK This is a rewarding and varied role perfect for someone who wants to help pupils thrive academically and emotionally.
