Teaching Assistant (Level 2+) – Primary Schools
Location: Middleton / Rochdale
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time & Part-time opportunities available
Axcis are currently recruiting a Level 2+ Teaching Assistant to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in the Middleton and Rochdale area, starting January 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant who is eager to support pupils’ learning and development in a primary school setting.
The Role:
• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Supporting pupils with SEND, where required
Requirements:
• Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or above
• Previous experience working in a UK primary school
• A caring, patient and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
