Job Title: Teaching Assistant, complex needs, part time, Wrexham
Axcis Education requires a teaching assistant to work in a special needs school between KS1-KS4 based in Wrexham. Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced and confident special needs teaching assistant. The role is supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), complex needs, ADHD, Attachment Disorders, Anxiety, SEBD, SEMH and autism. As a teaching assistant you will be working alongside other teachers to help to plan effective and interactive lessons. Applicants should be experience and comfortable with person care, manual handling, hoists, and feeding. You should be able to demonstrate a high aspiration for all learners and have a flexible approach to meet the holistic needs of the pupils. This is a very welcoming school that offers a friendly and supportive group of teaching and support staff. The facilities are bright and cheerful with up to date equipment and sensory room.
