Position Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Pay: Starting from £89 per day / £13.86 per hour

A friendly and supportive primary special needs school in West Bromwich is looking for a compassionate and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with mild to severe SEND needs.
This is a full-time, long-term role starting in September, giving you the chance to build a strong, trusting relationship with a pupil and help them flourish in their learning and development.
What you’ll be doing:
• Providing dedicated one-to-one support tailored to the child’s individual needs
• Assisting with learning activities and helping the child access the curriculum
• Supporting emotional, social, and behavioural development
• Working closely with class teachers, SENCO, and other professionals
• Helping create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
What we’re looking for:
• Experience working in a school setting is essential
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND across a range of needs
• Patience, understanding, and a positive, flexible approach
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
