Learning Support Assistant – College Role | Axcis Education Location: LS23 Pay: From £90 per day Start Date: Immediate Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated learning support assistant to join a welcoming and supportive college environment. About the Role: You will be working on a 1:1 or small group basis with students aged 16+ who have a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Your role will be to provide tailored academic and emotional support, helping students thrive in a further education setting. What We’re Looking For: • Experience supporting students with SEND (school or college experience preferred) • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service (essential) or willing to obtain one • A caring, patient, and proactive approach to support • Good communication and interpersonal skills About the College: This is a lovely college with excellent facilities, including on-site parking.
