A local community college in Southall is currently seeking a learning support assistant to work 1:1 with a student with autism in the academic year beginning September 2019.
This role is offered on a part-time basis, Monday-Thursday, 9.45am-3.15pm (22.5 hours).
Supporting the student both in their studies and in their socialisation, this role will involve assisting the student with communication, social interaction and behaviour management. They are following a Functional Skills course, so a good level of English and Maths is required, as is a Team Teach qualification. However, their real passion lies in the creative arts, so if you like to get creative in this classroom, then this is the perfect role for you!
