A 'Good' two-form entry primary school based in Ealing is looking for a SEND teaching assistant to provide support for SEND children in Early Years and Key Stage 1. The ideal teaching assistant will be a enthusiastic and reliable with knowledge and experience of SEND, especially ASD and Downs Syndrome. You will be expected to provide 1:1 and small group learning support and be willing and able to establish a supportive relationship with the pupils and to monitor their response to learning activities Experience of Makaton and PECS is highly desirable but not essential. This is a full-time role to start in January 2020 on an ongoing basis. About the role: o SEND Teaching Assistant for Early Years and Key Stage 1 pupil. o Full time, (Mon-Fri) The ideal candidate: o Experience working with Key Stage 1 or Early Years pupils o Experience with ASD and Down Syndrome o PECS or Makaton experience - highly desirable but not essential About the school: o Two-form entry Primary School o Welcoming, dedicated and motivated team o Easily Accessible by Public Transport This is a temporary position.
