The ideal candidate will confidently provide one-to-one support and personal care to students with a variety of complex needs, facilitating their access to a full and enriching education. Responsibilities: - Deliver tailored educational support to students with complex needs, under the direction of the classroom teacher. - Assist with the implementation of Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) and Personal Care Plans. - Provide personal care with sensitivity and respect, including toileting, hygiene, and feeding, while promoting independence. - Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages pupils to engage in learning and social activities. - Monitor student progress and contribute to assessments and reviews, collaborating closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams. - Utilize appropriate communication strategies, including alternative communication methods if required, to effectively interact with students. - Assist with the management of behavior, employing agreed-upon strategies to promote positive outcomes.
