Payment Options
You will need to register with one of our preferred umbrella companies in order for us to be able to process your timesheets. Your umbrella company will then be your employer and will take all necessary deductions such as national insurance and tax, and your payslip will be issued by the umbrella company.
Being paid through an umbrella company does incur costs you may not have seen before if you have not been paid though one in the past. To offset these costs, the rate you are quoted is a higher rate than you would receive if Axcis was to process your pay PAYE. This results in your take home pay being the same as if you were to be paid a PAYE rate. Axcis does not quote PAYE rates when informing you of your daily rate for the work you do. Any pay rate quoted to you will be an umbrella uplifted rate.
Umbrella companies charge a fee for using their service, however they also offer benefits. Please ask them for further details on this. You do not need to register with an umbrella company until you have accepted work with Axcis, however we highly recommend that you register before you accept work to make sure you are happy for your pay to be processed in this way. Please do not accept any work from Axcis if you are not happy for your pay to be processed via an umbrella company as there is no other way that Axcis processes pay.
