Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. We are working on behalf of schools across the Herefordshire area, offering both long-term and short-term opportunities. We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming one-form entry primary school from 3rd September, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, during term time only. You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a Year 5 pupil, providing support both in and out of the classroom. Your responsibilities will include helping the pupil stay focused during lessons, supervising break and lunchtime, supporting with extracurricular activities, and attending occasional meetings or parent evenings to provide updates on the child's progress. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact during a child's final years of primary school. We are looking for someone with experience working with children, either within education, care, or another support-based role. The pay for this role is £14.25 per hour.
