Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant – Puddletown, Dorset
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed both academically and personally?
A welcoming and inclusive mainstream school in Puddletown is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. Working across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3, this is an excellent opportunity to support pupils during a crucial stage of their educational journey and make a meaningful difference every day.
The Role:
Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will play an important role in helping pupils engage with learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting individual pupils and small groups with their learning across a range of subjects
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Encouraging positive behaviour, resilience and independence
• Providing pastoral support and helping pupils develop confidence both inside and outside the classroom
• Creating a safe, supportive and positive learning environment
• Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development throughout the school day

Key Information:
Pay: £14.25 – £15.05 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
