Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant (SEND) Flintshire - £13.79 per hour
We are currently working with a school based in North Wales who are seeking a teaching assistant to join their team. This school has received amazing Ofsted reviews and has a great reputation in North Wales area.
This role will suit someone who has previous experience working as a teaching assistant – preferably someone who has specific experience working with SEND needs Including Social, emotional & mental health difficulties, autism, ADHD and learning difficulties. You will be responsible for the helping the students engage positively in in school life.
If you have experience working in a school setting or personal experience supporting individuals with SEND, we would love to hear from you.
Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Helping pupils access the curriculum and stay engaged in learning
Providing emotional, social, and behavioural support where needed
Adapting learning materials to meet individual needs
Encouraging independence and confidence in pupils
Monitoring progress and feeding back to teachers and SENCOs
Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
