Job role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant – SEND Support (KS1) Location: Bridgwater Pay Rate: £89 per day Job Type: Part-time – Term Time Only (Temporary or Long-term) Hours: 8:45am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday, term time) Are you passionate about supporting young children with additional needs in a nurturing and close-knit school environment? We are seeking a calm, experienced, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a small, rural primary school in Bridgwater, providing 1:1 support for a Key Stage 1 pupil with autism, ADHD, and associated behavioural needs. About the Role: You will play a vital part in supporting a KS1 child to access learning and thrive in a structured, caring environment. Working alongside a class teacher and several other TAs, your focus will be to build trust, provide consistent emotional and behavioural support, and help the pupil feel safe and included throughout the school day.
