Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Specialist Primary Provision, Bournemouth Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Pay: £89- £95 per day Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child’s life? We are seeking an energetic, pro-active and caring Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs. About the Role: We are looking for an empathetic and resilient Teaching Assistant who can support the pupils they will be working alongside. These students may have various special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), experience of which would be beneficial, but training can be provided. The role may require working on a 1:1 basis or mentoring a small group. The ability to communicate effectively, understand the needs of the pupils and build positive relationships, are key attributes we are looking for in a candidate. This teaching assistant position would be a great match for those looking for a long-term role as there is excellent potential for progression in this school, with many staff being taken onto permanent contracts after a short period of supply work.
