Pay: From £89 per day, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term-time only)

Axcis Education is currently recruiting a teaching assistant to work in a local college, supporting students with SEND, some of whom may display challenging behaviour or need additional help to access learning.

About the Role:
• Support students with a range of SEND needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Work alongside teaching and SEN staff to implement tailored learning strategies
• Assist with emotional and behavioural support as needed
• Help promote inclusion and engagement within the classroom and wider college environment
Requirements:
• Experience working with young people with SEND is essential
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
• A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Axcis)
