Currently looking for an experienced Safeguarding Officer to join a secondary school based in South East London (SE13 area). This is an immediate start position, running until Christmas, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have substantial prior experience in safeguarding roles within a school setting, with a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures, child protection, and supporting vulnerable students. You’ll be confident liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies, and able to maintain accurate safeguarding records in line with statutory guidance. The school is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, so experience in a similar role is essential.
