Teaching Assistant + Personal Care Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Personal Care) Location: Oldham Start Date: ASAP Pay: £95.00 - £110 per day, experiance dependant About the Role: Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience in personal care? We are looking for caring, reliable individuals to register with Axcis Education to support our partner schools in Oldham. As a Teaching Assistant (Personal Care), you will work closely with students who require additional support throughout the school day. This may include: • Providing 1:1 or small group support • Assisting with personal care needs (toileting, feeding, hygiene) in a respectful and dignified manner • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), including autism, physical disabilities, or complex needs • Encouraging independence and confidence • Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff • Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment What We’re Looking For • Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs • Experience providing personal care (preferred but not essential if willing to train) • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach • Strong communication and teamwork skills • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing Why Register with Axcis?
