Job Title: Teaching Assistant – General Classroom Support
Location: Mainstream Secondary School, M32 Area
Position: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 4:30pm
Salary: Up to £112 per day
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a well-established mainstream secondary school in the M32 area. The successful candidate will be working across a variety of subjects, providing general classroom support to students and assisting teachers with the delivery of lessons.
- Key Responsibilities:
Providing general classroom support for students across different year groups and subjects.
Supporting individual students, small groups, and larger classes as directed by the classroom teacher.
Assisting with the delivery of the curriculum, ensuring students are fully engaged and making progress.
Helping with classroom management and maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment.
Supporting students with additional learning needs and those requiring extra assistance, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
Assisting teachers with administrative tasks, preparing resources, and ensuring that students have everything they need for lessons.
- Requirements:
UK Secondary School Experience: You must have prior experience working in a secondary school setting in the UK, ideally in a Teaching Assistant role.
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.
Availability: Must be available five days a week, from 8:15am to 4:30pm.
A proactive approach: You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team, and be adaptable to different classroom environments.
