Job Title: Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Smethwick, B66
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: £89 per day
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking a caring and committed Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to join our committed team. You will be supporting children on a one to one basis and in small groups assisting in their learning and development in a classroom setting. The needs of the children vary from ADHD, Autism and Learning Difficulties.
Role Details:
• Supporting children on a one to one basis or in small groups
• Tailoring learning styles for children with a wide range of ASD, Learning Difficulties, ADHD
• Supporting regulation strategies, sensory needs, and transitions throughout the day
• Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to track progress and adapt support plans
Who we’re looking for:
• Teaching Assistant experience is highly desired
• Patient, proactive and ability to adapt in any given situation
• You hold a valid DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to pay for one)
• Have a passion for supporting children with SEN
