Job Title: Supply Teacher
We are currently recruiting for a Primary Supply Teacher to work on a day-to-day basis across a range of mainstream primary schools in Slough. This role offers excellent flexibility and would suit a qualified teacher who enjoys working in different school environments and can quickly adapt to new classrooms while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, with pay offered in line with the teacher pay scale depending on experience and qualifications. As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring pupils remain engaged, supported and able to continue their learning in the absence of their usual class teacher. In some longer-term placements, there may also be opportunities to contribute to lesson planning and preparation to support continuity within the classroom.
The successful candidate will hold UK Qualified Teacher Status and have a minimum of one year's experience teaching within a primary school setting. You will be confident managing classroom behaviour, building positive relationships with pupils and staff, and adapting your teaching approach to suit a variety of learning needs and classroom dynamics. Strong communication skills, flexibility, creativity and the ability to remain calm and professional in new environments are essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic teacher who values flexibility while still making a positive impact within local school communities. You will have the chance to work in a range of supportive schools where your professionalism, adaptability and commitment to pupil progress will be highly valued.
If you are a motivated Primary Teacher looking for rewarding supply work in the Slough area, we would be delighted to hear from you.
