Job Title: Speech and Language Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant – Speech & Language Delay – KS1 – Tower Hamlets From £89/day | Primary | Tower Hamlets | Immediate Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Axcis are recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 child with speech and language delay in a welcoming Tower Hamlets primary school. The school has strong links with speech therapists and specialists, ensuring excellent support and training opportunities for staff. Transport links are excellent, with easy access by Tube and bus. In this role, you will be: • Supporting a KS1 pupil with speech and language difficulties, both in class and during targeted interventions. • Using visual aids, repetition, and structured activities to support understanding and expression. • Working alongside the class teacher and SALT to deliver personalised support. • Encouraging confidence, social interaction and independence in the classroom. What we’re looking for: • Experience with children with communication or speech delays is desirable. • Patient, creative and proactive approach to learning support. • Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt resources. • Team player with a passion for inclusion and child development.
