Are you a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wembley is looking for a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with speech and language needs and ASD.
Starting on 1st December 2025, this full-time role offers the chance to make a real and lasting difference to a child’s learning journey within a nurturing mainstream setting.
You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to put tailored strategies in place, helping the pupil develop confidence, independence and communication skills. A key part of the role will also include supporting personal care needs and ensuring the child feels safe, comfortable and valued throughout the school day.
What we’re looking for:
Experience working within a UK primary school setting
A Level 3 (or higher) TA qualification, or equivalent
Experience supporting pupils with ASD and speech and language needs
A patient, caring and proactive approach to learning support
Willingness to assist with personal care when required
