About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and committed SEND Teacher to join our team in Whitton, London. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, inclusive education, ensuring every student is supported to achieve their full potential both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, develop, and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff, parents, and external professionals
• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to a range of SEND needs
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing clear feedback to all stakeholders
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Work closely with teaching assistants and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
• Keep up to date with current SEND best practices and contribute to whole-school improvement
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working within a SEND setting
• Strong knowledge of a range of SEND needs and effective teaching strategies
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
