Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant - Post 16
END Learning Support Assistants (Post 16+)
Location: Bromley, BR2
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:30pm
Start: September 2026
We are working with a well-established SEND provision in Bromley that supports students aged 16+ and are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants for both 1:1 and group support roles.
About the Role:
You will be supporting students with a range of complex needs, including:
• PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
• Medical needs
• Down’s Syndrome
• Cerebral Palsy
• Wheelchair users
The setting has a strong focus on developing life skills, independence, and preparing students for adulthood.
This provision offers a varied and engaging curriculum, including:
• Independent living skills
• Creative subjects such as drama, arts and crafts
• End-of-year performances and plays
• Forest School sessions
• Work placements within the community
We are looking for individuals who are:
• Positive, proactive, and reliable
• Able to think on their feet and stay organised
• Passionate about supporting young people with SEND
• Focused on promoting independence rather than doing tasks for students
• Confident in using positive reinforcement
• Caring, patient, and committed to making a difference
