Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Full-time | Long-term
A caring primary school in the EN8 Waltham Cross area is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January. The role involves supporting children in Reception, Early Years and KS1 on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis, particularly pupils with ASD, non-verbal communication needs, and complex or behavioural challenges. You’ll be helping them access learning, develop communication skills and build confidence through structured and engaging activities.
The school is looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting young children with SEN
Is patient, creative and confident with non-verbal learners
Can adapt their support to meet a range of individual needs
Works positively within a warm and collaborative team
